Mertie West stands in the distance in front of the West's cabin at McCoy's Motor Court in Phoenix. The Wests stopped here en route to the Grand Canyon. She stands left-of-center in front of the front door to their cabin. In front of her, Adirondack chairs sit in a small rock-lined yard which is encircled by a driveway. The West's car is parked halfway under their cabin's carport on the left side of the cabin. The cabin is part of a duplex and sits on the left side of the duplex. Another unit sits attached to their cabin at right.
