Photograph, from left to right, of Elizabeth West (partial view) and Wilf Cline sitting and posing for a photograph while aboard a bait boat during a fishing excursion in Hermosa Beach. Elizabeth sits at far left in the foreground. She faces left, but her head is turned to the camera. Behind her to the right, Wilf sits in a reclined position facing left. He too turns his head to look at the camera. He lounges in front of a pole and rigging. A hand behind Elizabeth's back holds onto a white fedora that is visible in the foreground between Elizabeth and Wilf. The ocean expands into the distance behind them.
Text from negative sleeve: 579. Hermosa Beach, Calif. About 1920. I took Wilf Cline and Elizabeth West out on a bait boat to fish. Wilf got sick, but came to when we commenced to catch mackerel fast. 2 negatives
