A dog lies on the ground in front of the gun rack. A tent (partial view) enters the frame at left. Text from negative sleeve: 590. Imperial Valley, Calif. About 1908. We go duck hunting. Joe Pike, Kelly Reese, Dick Taylor and H.H.West. We took the S.P.R.R. to Imperial and had the baggageman[sic] at Imperial engage a rig to take us about 4 miles west to the New River.
