A distant and angled view of the Siemsen residence in Glendale. It is viewed from the southwest and looking towards the hills in the northeast. The house sits on the opposite side of the street at left and is obscured by trees in both the front yard and a neighboring yard. H. H. West's Buick is parked in the street in front of the house and faces towards the camera. From left to right, Elizabeth Siemsen, Mertie West and Dottie Siemsen stand around some hedges in front of the house (distant view). The street stretches to the right towards the distant hills.
Text from negative sleeve: 617. Glendale, Calif. May 1942. Residence of Al. Siemsen at 1811 Los Encinos Ave. Looking north east towards the hills. My Buick in front. Mertie West and Dottie Siemsen facing the camera and Elizabeth Siemsen picking flowers.
