Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. H. H. West stands in an outdoor swimming pool known as Lewis Lake with his cousins and friends. All five are wet and wear bathing suits. Will Mead holds a hat. Stevens holds an object, possibly sticks. There is a woman and a child walking in the background next to a fence and two men walk at the right near a structure. There are trees in the background. Fannie Mead Biddick and William P. Mead were brother and sister and were H. H. West's first cousins. Based on other images, this appears to be Independence (Inda) Stevens, rather than John Biddick. Text from negative sleeve: 639.
