Group of H. H. West's friends and cousins pose in the woods. There are trees behind, as well as what appear to be grazing animals. Three people sit on a chair and the rest sit on a ground.
Independence (Inda) Stevens, Margaret Burris, and Emma Manker sit on the chair. From left to right, in the back row, there is Asenath Burris, Will Mead, and unidentified man and woman. In the front, there is Will Biddick, Grace Biddick, Walter Biddick, and Fannie Mead Biddick.
Fannie Mead Biddick and Will Mead were brother and sister and H. H. West's first cousins. William Biddick was Fannie's husband, and Grace Biddick and Walter Biddick were their children.
