Photograph of H. H. West, Jr. (center) posing while fishing off of a pier in Long Beach. He stands in front of the rail on the north side of the pier and turns to look at the camera. He holds a fishing rod in both hands. Two men stand on either side of him; both are mostly out of frame on each side of the photograph. Between the rails, the beach and beachgoers can be seen in the distance at right.
