An under exposed photograph, from left to right, of Mertie West, H. H. West, Jr. and H. H. West, Sr. all sitting in a row on the same side of a dining table under the oak trees at Soper's Ranch. They are viewed from the end of the table. Mertie sits at left, furthest away from camera and H. H. West, Sr. sits at right nearest the camera. Mertie rests her head to hand as she looks to the camera. H. H., Jr. stares off towards the left. H. H., Sr. turns his head towards the other two. The table in front of them is strewn with plates, bowls and cups. Trees occupy the background.
