Grace and Walter Biddick were siblings and H. H. West's first cousins once removed.
Grace and Walter Biddick dressed in costumes. Both wear masks and hats. Grace holds a blanket, which hangs down to her feet, around her shoulders. Walter wears overalls with the legs rolled up. He appears to have something stuffed in the pockets. There is a house in the background. Part of a tree is visible at the left.
Text from negative sleeve: 666. Red Oak, Iowa. Meads farm. Sept. 1900. Will Mead and his mother Lucy Mead dolling up Grace Biddick as a calthumpian [sic]. Grace and Walter Biddick dolled up as calthumpians [sic]. Walter Biddick as calthumpian [sic]. 3 negatives.
