In the caption, the woman in the middle is identified as Elizabeth West. This person does not appear to be Elizabeth West.
A blurry photograph, from front to back, of Frances West, an unknown woman and Mary West riding donkeys along a mountain trail near Mount Wilson. Frances leads the group as she rides her donkey towards the camera. Another woman rides a donkey behind her. At the back of the group, Mary West veers her donkey slightly towards the right where two men sit on the trail's edge. A hillside covered brush stands to the left of the trail and mountains rise in the distance at right.
