Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of the hotel at Mount Wilson as it stands in the near distance and is viewed at an angle. The nearest corner of the building stands at right. The building extends to the back and to the left across the image. Part of the building also appears to expand back to the right and out of frame. A fence at right lines a wide dirt pathway at center that leads towards the hotel's office. A man stands in a doorway at center with a dog. Signs on the left and right of the door, read, respectively, "POST OFFICE," and "OFFICE." At the right end of the building, a woman, two girls (looks like Elizabeth, Frances and Mary West) and a dog stand near a doorway. A stone chimney on the left end of the building billows smoke.
