Description

The cabin is covered in snow and is viewed from an angle. The short side of the building faces towards the right and the front of the cabin faces front while receding back towards the left. Another cabin stands to its left and extends out-of-frame. In the foreground, a snow-covered pile of stones stands along the left edge of the photograph. The ground that slopes downwards between the camera and the cabin is covered in a blanket of snow. Text from negative sleeve: 683. Mount Wilson, winter 1909. On the trail.
