Photograph, from left to right, of Mary West, Glen Velzy, Bessie Velzy, Frances West and Al Schmitz all gathered around the Velzy's car while stopping during a trip through Mendocino County. Glen Velzy's car is parked at center. It is viewed from the rear and the side; it faces towards the right. Bessie Velzy is in the car and leans through the back opening to engage with the others standing around the car. Mary West stands leftmost, facing right, and is obscured by Glen Velzy.
