Description

Photograph, from left to right, of: Mary West, Elizabeth West, Bessie Velzy, Glen Velzy, Al Schmitz, Ray Schmitz and Frances West standing in the distance and gathered around the Velzy's Buick Runabout while posing for a group picture as they traveling through Mendocino County. A large swath of bare ground stretches across the foreground. Two cars are parked side-by-side at left and face right towards the group. Further ahead of the two cars, the Velzy's Buick is parked and the group stands in a row-like formation in front of the rear end of the car. All but Bessie Velzy stand around the car. She leans out of the back window opening of the car. A dirt road passes behind the cars on a slight upward angle from left to right.
