Glen Velzy and I had been fishing at Laguna, and on the way home stopped at Newport Beach and took some photos of our catch. 7 pictures of myself with our fish. 4 pictures of Glen Velzy with our fish. 2 pictures of myself on the Newport Pier with a big sea bass some fellow had caught. 2 pictures of the fellow who caught the big sea bass. Now unknown. 15 negatives. Photograph of H. H. West posing on the beach with his fishing rod and with fish caught by him and Glen Velzy in Newport Beach. H. H. West stands in the near distance right-of-center. He looks to camera as he supports a wooden beam with his hip and holds a fishing pole in his opposite hand. A broken wooden post in the foreground at left cradles the other end of the wooden beam. A dozen or so fish hang from the wooden beam between the wooden post and H. H. Up a small slope in the background, a car is parked at left and a house stands at right. Telephone poles and another car stand in the background at center.
