A lopsided view of Mertie West walking down the front porch steps and leaving the residence of Dr. William B. Greenburg in Pomona. She stands under an archway left-of-center, in the distance, as she approaches the camera. The single-story adobe bungalow stands left-of-center. A porch with an awning sits on the front of the house to the right of Mertie. A window at left is also covered by an awning. Under the archway and over Mertie's head, a placard reads, "417." The side of a neighboring house stands at right.
