Trees obscure most of the house. There is a fence surrounding the property and a dirt road running in front. There is grass in the foreground. Text from negative sleeve: 776. East. Red Oak, Iowa. 1900. The picket fence, maple trees along the front of our old home. Looking northwest from about opposite Austin's home on the east. We had two lots, and our house was located on the west lot.
