Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. View of the town square. Buildings stretch across the photograph. Some have awnings, other have windows out front. One has a sign that reads, "wall paper" and on the awning, "Shank &... druggist & wallpaper store." Another store has signs that read, "S. C. Nordquist" and "clothing." And ad for paints is painted on the side a building. There are horses and buggies parked at the left and others moving through the square. People walk on the sidewalk. Part of a tree is visible at the left. Text from negative sleeve: 790. East. Red Oak, Iowa. 1900. East side of the square, looking north east.
