Photograph of Doctor Will Reilley posing while standing in the snow outside the railroad depot in Red Oak after driving H. H. West to the depot. He stands left-of-center and looks to camera. His car (partial view) is parked behind him at left. The front end of the car faces to the right. Behind him and to the right, the train depot is viewed at a slight angle from the front. Across the roof eave, a sign reads, "RED OAK." Parked on the left side of the building and behind the right side of Doctor Reilley is a cart stacked with crates. The boxes read, "WT. 30 LBS. 331 QUALITY BREAD WHITE FRONT BAKERY GRISWOLD, IOWA", "205 J.S. LOUTHAN", AND "210." Snow sits in pile on the ground to the right and covers the roof of the depot.
Text from negative sleeve: 812. East. Red Oak, Iowa. 1917. Visiting in Red Oak for the day I called on Doc Will Reilley and he took me out in his auto, and to the depoot[sic] to catch my train. I took his photo and auto at the depot. He had a shovel in the car and I asked him what for, and he said he frequently had to shovel snow to get the car out when stuck.
