Mrs Morgan had given me a permit to hunt on her place just east of Rosamond, and I took Glen Velzy and H.H.West Jr up one early morning. We left home about 3 a.m. and got to the ranch before day break. There were a couple duck clubs close by and we thought we might get some ducks. Nothing doing at all. Too far away. We came back to the car and had hot chocolate H.H.West Jr on the running board. Glen Velzy standing. A picture of one of the gun club ponds west of Lancaster. We go on over to Nina Heiser's place and I shot a rabbit there. H.H.West Jr with the gun and rabbit. 3 negatives
