Photograph of a tent and camp stove set up at the West, Whitaker and Shaw party's campsite near Rush Creek. A large white tent stands at left and extends to the right. A rope attaches from the top of the tent to a tree at right. A side of the tent is partially lifted up at center, revealing someone standing within the tent. At far right, the camp stove sits at the base of a tree. Smoke billows from it. It is surrounded by crates strewn across the ground. Trees surround the campsite and a mountain rises in the distance.
