H. H. West's father-in-law, Abraham Whitaker, poses with trout caught in Grant Lake. He holds a fishing pole and wears a hat and glasses. He sits on a rock and has his foot up on another one. The fish are on another rock, and some are coming out of a basket. There are rocks throughout, and the lake is in the background, along with a mountain. There is a light streak at the bottom of the image.
