Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. San Carlos Borromeo Basilica. The basilica has an angled roof above an arch. Below the arch, there is a carved design. There is a cross on the front door. There is a small hill in the foreground. A person walks by the basilica at the left. H. H. West's sister, Nella, took this photograph. Text from negative sleeve: 967. Monterey, Calif. 1901. These photos were taken by Nella West and I think are all of the mission at Monterey, but may be also at San Jose as she was also down there. 6 negatives.
