Temporary location of the Emporium Department Store following the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire. People walk in front of the store and there are cars pulled up to it at the right. Men work on the building standing on ladders. There are wooden planks piled up in front. A sign at the center reads, "The Emporium." A sign at the left reads, "Now open for business." The image is slightly hazy.
