Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph, from left to right, of Wilfrid Cline, Jr. and Harry Schmitz, posing while each holding an end of a fishing line with their catch of trout dangling between them. Wilfrid Cline stands at left in front of the front of a car. He is barefoot and glances towards the left while holding his end of the line. Harry Schmitz stands at right. He holds the line and looks to the camera. A car is parked behind them. It is viewed at an angle from the front and the side; it faces towards the left. The trout held by Wilfrid and Harry dangle in front of the front passenger side tire. A rock functions as a brake as it sits propped under the tire behind Wilfrid Cline. Fishing rods lean upright against the car behind Harry. In the far distance, at right, a cabin stands. Text from negative sleeve: 1020. Trinity County trip 1917.
