Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph, from front to back, of Harry Schmitz and Wilfrid Cline, Jr. in H. H. West's car that is parked in front of the old Teel family's ranch in Shasta County. The car is parked, right-of-center, on a dirt road that passes in front of the house. The car is viewed from the side and faces left. Harry Schmitz sits in the driver's seat with a pipe hanging from his mouth. Behind him, Wilfrid Cline, Jr. stands up in the back and leans against the front seat. A fence stretches across the image behind the car and in front of the house. The house stands left-of-center and is viewed from the front. It is covered in ivy. A couple outbuildings stand in the distance at right. Text from negative sleeve: 1042. Trinity County trip, 1917.
