Trinity County trip, 1917. Cisco, Calif. It got dark while we were coming down the grade from Summit to Cisco. Could look over side of car and see water far below. The grade was a shelf. Cold and windy. Stopped and camped at first flat spot. On the sand under some big willows. All night long the engines roared up the grade in the show sheds above us. Ground shook. Next morning found a sign close by saying Cisco 1 mile, and pointed up thru the pines toward the sheds. We went up and found a fine depot and eating room and had fine breakfast. 1. Small film. Our camp at Cisco. Harry Schmitz and Wilfrid Cline Jr in front of car. 2. L to R: Wilfrid Cline Jr and Harry Schmit [sic]. 2. L to R: Harry Schmitz & Wilfrid Cline Jr. 3 films
