Photograph, from left to right, of Irene Schmitz and an unknown girl posing with fish by a stream near Silver Lake. The girls stand at center atop a wood plank that spans a small stream. They look to the camera and together, they hold up a stick between them. A few fish dangle from the stick. The stream they stand over is at its widest in the lower right corner and narrows as it approaches the background. Rocks sit in the stream in the lower right corner. A wooden plank, stretching left to right, then spans the stream. From there, the stream narrows into the distance as it flows behind Irene. Tall grasses stand on the bank at right. Trees line the near distance and mountains are visible rising in the far distance.
