Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Mary A. West and Isabelle Smith walking down a set of tracks to the general store in Mono Mills. The 2 women walk in line along the railroad tracks in the near distance. Their backs are to camera as the walk towards the store in the distance. The tracks stretch across the image on an upward angle from lower left to the right. A pine tree stands along the left edge of the image on the left side of the tracks. Pine cones litter the ground beneath the tree. The tracks bisect brush covered ground as they approach the store. The store stands, right-of-center, and is viewed from the front and the side. Additional buildings stand further back at left and right. Several trees stand behind the store at right. Mountains rise in the far distance at left. Text from negative sleeve: 1114.
