Cottonwood Creek flows from right downward to the left over rocks in the foreground. A small wooden bridge passes over the stream at right. Rocks line the opposite bank at left. A car is parked under the trees on the opposite bank at center. Rocks continue to line a hillside in the background at left and trees stand in the background at right. Text from negative sleeve: 1127. Smith West tour August 1913. Cottonwood Creek. We got in there the last day of August and next day September first the golden trout season opened and we were the only fishermen in there. 1. H.H.West's Buick on the grade up Cottonwood Creek. 2.
