An out-of-focus photograph of Dave F. Smith posing with trout in the vicinity of Cottonwood Creek. Dave F. Smith stands at center and faces towards the camera. He holds up a stick in front of him with both hands. Several golden trout hang vertically from the stick. Rocks sit piled behind Dave on the right. From the rocks, ground brush covers a hillside that rises at right. A dirt road stretches behind Dave at left and gives way to mountains standing in the distance.
