Mary West and Glen Velzy stand in a car with Elizabeth West and Frances West. Mrs. West wears a hat that ties under her chin and goggles. The girls both wear white dresses and bonnets. Mr. Velzy bends over. There are three American flags attached to the car. There is a box and a cylindrical object attached to the running board. There is a road in the background, as well as a field and mountains.
Mary A. West (Mary Adelbert Teel West Shepard) was H. H. West's first wife and the mother of West's children.
