West, Jr., Keyo and Ambrose Cline posing while standing atop some rocks that cut through a stream in San Francisquito Canyon in Santa Clarita. The trio stands at left and faces the camera. H. H. West, Jr. and Ambrose Cline stand on large rocks in front of Keyo. H. H., Jr. stands on the largest rock at left. Ambrose stands slightly further back on a smaller rock and is dressed in cowboy attire. Keyo stands tall behind and between them on the rocks. He rests a hand to each of their shoulders. The rocks they stand upon stretch back in a line to the right. Flat grassy land expands into the distance behind them. Trees line the background and fencing is visible behind the group at left. Text from negative sleeve: 1175. San Francisquito Canyon about 1923. I take Ambrose Cline, H.H.West Jr and our Japanese house boy to the canyon to camp out for a night. 1.
