Description

West standing on top of a wooden plank that stretches over and across a stream in San Francisquito Canyon. The stream stretches on an upward angle from right to left and narrows as it flows out of frame at left. A wooden plank serves as the footbridge across the stream. It stretches from its support in the lower left corner on an upward angle to the right. Frances West stands at left on the bridge and looks to the camera. Elizabeth West stands further down the bridge, right-of-center, and also looks to the camera. Mary A. West stands directly behind Elizabeth and looks to the camera as well. Rocks, brush, sticks and trees line the opposite bank behind them. According to the negative sleeve, Mary A. West stands center and Elizabeth West stands rightmost.
