Text from negative sleeve: 1194. Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif. Sunday March 8, 1942. Our arrival at the S. P. R. R. depot. I had H. H. West Jr. line up his comrades for a picture. Sorry did not get their names. 1. Q. M. C. group en route to Alaska. H. H. West Jr. at extreme right with dark glasses. 2. H. H. West Jr. with his grip on the station platform. The army baggage truck in rear. 3. Unloading the soldiers' baggage from truck to platform baggage truck. 4. The soldiers on the platform after arrival. 4 films.
