Another man sits on one of two carts parked by the station. Another man stands by him. At the right, in the distance, there is a truck with a man in front. A sign reads, "San Luis Obispo" on the roof of the station. The bulletin board is below. There are trees and mountains in the background. Text from negative sleeve: 1195. San Luis Obispo, California, Sunday, March 8, 1942. About noon. 1. 2. The double film shows the S. P. R. R. station at San Luis Obispo, and the Bulletin Board at the end. 3. Mertie West, with our Buick in the rear, and behind that is the Army truck which brot [sic] the soldiers from the camp, four miles away, to the depot. 4. The soldiers fool with a little truck on the platform while waiting for their train. 5. The soldiers as they unloaded on the station platform. 5 films.
