Photograph, from left to right, of Minnie West, Bessie Velzy, Glen Velzy, Frances West and Elizabeth West standing on a shore and watching as the Catalina Ferry leaves the harbor in San Pedro. Everyone stands with their backs to the camera and looks into the distance to where the ferry is sailing. Bessie Velzy, Glen Velzy, Frances West and Elizabeth West all stand in a row in the near distance right by the water's edge. Minnie West stands separate from the group. She stands nearest to the camera at far left behind the others. The ferry is in partial view as it sails towards the right and out of frame. Two smokestacks billow smoke from the center of the ship.
