Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Wayne West was H. H. West's brother. Anna Pike Foreman (Mrs. G. W. Foreman) was Wayne's mother-in-law. Wayne West stands on his front lawn with his mother-in-law, Anna Pike Foreman. West is turned to the left and holds a handkerchief in his hands. Mrs. Foreman walks on the lawn. There is a hose stretched across the lawn. The roof of West's porch is visible at the left. Other houses and buildings are visible in the background, including one that has a sign on it that reads, "Seaside...gasoline." Part of a car is visible at the right of the photograph.
