Wayne West stands on his front lawn with his wife and mother-in-law. Mrs. West wears an apron. There is a hose on the ground. West's house is visible at the left of the photograph. Other houses and buildings are visible in the background, along with a streetlamp. One building has a sign on top that reads, "Seaside...gasoline." The bottom of the negative is torn.
Wayne West was H. H. West's brother.
