Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Richard Siemsen posing while standing on a trestle that extends out into Newport Bay. Richard stands at center atop the trestle and nods his head downward to look towards the camera. The trestle extends at an upward angle from the lower left corner towards the right, narrowing as it stretches to the right. A railroad rail stretches along the trestle in front of where Richard stands. A few rocks sit beneath the trestle at right. Behind Richard and the bridge, the bay expands across the mid-ground. Across the bay, the opposite shore stands in the distance and low mountains rise in the far distance. Text from negative sleeve: 1220. Santa Ana-Balboa, Calif. January 19, 1941.
