Photograph, from left to right, of Dottie Siemsen, Al Siemsen and Wayne West standing on the shore and looking out over Newport Bay. The group stands at center and gazes out towards the bay at right. Dottie Siemsen stands nearest to camera and faces to the right. Al Siemsen stands behind and to the right of her; he too faces towards the right. Wayne West stands behind and to the right of Al; he faces towards the camera, but turns his head towards the right. Large rocks line the shoreline to the right of the group. The rocky shoreline extends from the lower right corner on arc back towards the left. Behind the group, a housing unit stands left-of-center. Two palm trees stand in front of it; a man and young boy stand beneath the palm at left. The bay stretches into the distance along the right side of the image. Boats sail on the water and the opposite shore stands in the far distance. Text from negative sleeve: 1220. Santa Ana-Balboa, Calif. January 19, 1941.
