West's Buick parked in front of Santa Barbara Mission with West's mother, Wilhelmina, and daughters, Frances, and Elizabeth West inside and his wife, Mary West, beside it. The three women sit in the backseat. Antlers are attached to the front of the car. Text from negative sleeve: 1227. Santa Barbara, Calif. 1915. Coming home from our vacation trip to Shasta County, we stopped at Santa Barbara to visit the old Mission. 1. My loaded Buick in front of the Mission. Mary A West on the other side of the hood. 2. Up on the steps of the church. L to R: Mrs George M. West, Frances West, Elizabeth West, Mary West, "Babe" Bystle, son of Ade Bystle, Ford Agent Redding, California, who we were bringing to Los Angeles to teach the vulcanizing trade to so he could open a tire repair place in Redding. 3.
