Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Lester Shaw was Mertie Whitaker's nephew. Mertie Whitaker became H. H. West's second wife in the 1920's. Lester Shaw stands by a chalkboard sign holding firecrackers. Firecrackers also stick out of his pockets. He wears a hat and looks of to his right. The sign lists food, including fish dinner, clam chowder, rice tomato soup, salad, and baked fish. There is a covered patio behind him where people sit on benches.
