Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Distant view of the old San Pedro Club clubhouse in Orange County. A grassy field stretches across the foreground. Two low posts stick out of the ground, right-of-center. In the near distance at center, the clubhouse stands. It is viewed at an angle from the side and the front with the front side of the structure facing right. Outbuildings or other clubhouses stand further in the distance behind and to the left of it. Trees stand in a row at far right and line the field. Text from negative sleeve: 1249. Gun Clubs, Orange Co., Oct. 17, 1937. All that is left of the old San Pedro Club, I think they called it. While the little house is falling into decay, the grounds seem to be used this year (1942). This may have been the Saame Club house, as the Saame ponds adjoin the club house to the north. 1 film. The Sprig Club grounds were also in rear of this corner.
