An out-of-focus photograph of the West and Schmitz party campsite set up at Twin Lakes. A clearing stretches across the foreground. In the near distance the camp is set up. A tent is pitched beneath trees at right. Tables stand at center. Someone sits at one of the tables and faces towards the left. On the left side of the camp, the camp stove sits on the ground and billows smoke. It is surrounded by pots. Trees line the clearing along the back edge of the camp.
