Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of Chet Edgell posing with ducks shot on a shoot during a visit to the Sunset Gun Club. Chet Edgell stands, left-of-center, and curls up an arm to hold onto a tether of several ducks. He faces towards the left, but looks to the camera. Behind him at right stands a fenced pen. A gate-frame is directly behind him and chicken wire extends from it towards the right. Further back on the grounds and at left, a shack stands in partial view. Text from negative sleeve: 1271. Sunset Gun Club, December 30, 1916. 1. Chet Edgell, Garage Owner at Independence, California, who took me on the deer hunt to Division Creek Power House and Scotty's Springs.
