Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of H. H. West standing near a blind on the shooting grounds of the Sunset Gun Club and holding onto a rifle and ducks. H. H. West stands at center, on an embankment that stretches across the foreground, and leans forward while facing slightly towards the right. He holds the barrel of a rifle in one hand and from the other, a couple ducks dangle towards the ground. Ducks lie on the ground in front of him, piled up next to the blind. The blind is surrounded by tall grasses and chicken wire in the lower right corner. Behind him, a large pond sprawls into the distance. Text from negative sleeve: 1277.
