Elizabeth West stands next to a bench on the beach. She wears a dark bathing suit with buttons up the front. A man stands in the sand at the left of the photograph. Next to the bench, there is a wooden pole and there is an object on the bench. There are utility poles and wires in the background.
Based on the age of H. H. West's daughter, Elizabeth West (Elizabeth West Siemsen) in this image, the date has been estimated as about 1905, rather than about 1910.
