The road stretches on an upward angle from right to left across the foreground. H. H. West's Buick is parked along the far side of the road, left-of-center. It is viewed at an angle from the side, facing left, and parked on an incline. Pines dot the side of the road behind it. In the far distance, snow-covered mountain ridges stretch across the background. Text from negative sleeve: 1610. Yellowstone trip 1942. July 1, 1942. Wednesday. 1. En route Odell Lake resort to Klammath [sic] Falls. Snow all over to the left. Crater Lake open only at south entrance. 2. New rest room of the Standard Oil station at Klammath [sic] Junction. 3. { Old buildings in Klammath [sic] Junction. [handwritten:] H. H. WEST.
