A deer stands at center in the foreground. It turns its head towards the left. A rope extends from the deer and out-of-frame at left. Several people stand around the deer, behind it and to the right of it. Two boys at far left walk their bicycles into frame behind the deer. To the right of them, 3 boys stand behind the deer and gaze towards it. A man walks behind them and looks towards the camera. At right, a boy (partial view) steps into frame, facing left. Behind him, a man walks towards the right frame and looks towards the camera. In the background, a few tents are pitched. Text from negative sleeve: 1632. Los Angeles Parks. Agricultural Park. 1900. 1. 2. When the boys commenced to come home from Manila and other points in the Spanish American war there was a great big camp set up in Agricultural Park, and we went down to visit the place one Sunday. No one there we knew, at least in this picture. 2 films
